Snowstar galloped in. She found some shade and colapsed sobing. Something that no other horse, besides her daughter Midnight knew, was that the foal on the ground looked almost identical to her first daught that she lost.

She sighed as her blue orbs meet his. " When I was a young filly, no older then Cheyenne here, I was forced by a cruel stallion that took our herd. That is what every one doesn't know about me. I haven't had only 2 foals. I have had 3. Well when it came time to foal I treaded a little bit away and did. A beautifull filly, her pelt was a snowy color with some sun dappled spots. So I named her Hazelnut. She was smart and quick and I coundn't wait to please the new stallion. But it was not to be. When I brought her home I took her straight to him. He was infuritated that I had a filly, and not a colt. I told him that she would still be a great horse and he snorted. He jumped down from his hill and took her away. He returned back bloody and tried to breed me again. I bolted with Moonlight, away from the heard to find a new one when along the trail layed Hazlenut, her beautifull coat was covered in dry blood and her body layed trampled into the ground. I couldn't believe it and thought I would have another foal again. When I came with Moonlight well the rest you know.[/b] She said slowly. But the reason I galloped away was because that little filly looked exactly like Hazlenut. She said tears welling in her eyes.

She smiled. Thank you for your kindness. But I would like to be alone for a while please.
