A strange mare walked alone into the small land, her nearly black eyes sparkling like shining stars. Her body gleamed in the afternoon light, honey-ish red in colour, and made a striking contrast to the twin black waterfalls streaming down either side of her neck. Her dark tail brushed the ground by her fetlocks and made a gentle swishing sound on the grass next to her white sock, which was opposite to the white stocking on her front leg. She looked around hopefully, her orbs seeking a stallion to protect and love her. One who would have only a small herd which the two of them could lead together. Of course, she would settle for a lower position too, but only if she absolutely had to. Akyah looked around again. Soon her champion would arrive.

Benny was grazing nearby in the sunlight and heard a whinny. He cantered over, hoping to befriend another mare to his herd. When he saw her he let out a whinny, letting her know hw was there. "Hello. Are you by any chance looking for a mate?"

She smiled when she saw him, and said, Yes, I am her tones were somehow both cold yet inviting and warm, a kind of strange music coming forth from her lips

"Would you like to join my herd then?" he inquired. This mare was.....strange, yet not. He'd just have to wait and see

I will accept your offer, noble stallion she said in her musical voice, a mysterious smile parting her black, velvety lips. To where has your herd traveled thus far? And may I ask with how many I will be sharing life?

ooc:sry, im not a very imaganitive writer, lol Benny blushed slightly, then replied "At the moment you will be sharing it with only one other mare. I have not yet found land on which to guard my herd, and so at the moment I have been staying with my sister and her herd. But I have a feeling that I will have to find land of my own soon, for I do not want to overstay my welcome." Benny smelt the wind and listened for any danger while he talked. Satisfied there was none, he lowered his head a moment to snatch a mouthful of grass.
