Soft shaded hues followed the moons guidance to the waters edge, the soft rippled calmed his furrowed mind, His perfect grey coat now healthy and thick his intelligent mind relaxed as he lay by the lapping liquid. Slowly he fell asleep.

Unwritten watched her brother from the trees shelter. She didn't utter a sound so he would be unaware of her pressence.

He was awoken by the soft chatter of birds and the early morning light that beat down on his fine coat. he stood up and listened to the lapping of the shore slowly he waded in the cool liquid feling it brush past his fine legs.

Unwritten watched him. Cool brown pools watched her brothers every movment. She had not relized that the wind had changed directions and was blowing towards him. She was so fixed on the fact that he didn't want to talk to her. He had never been that way before. She lowered her head in saddness in what she had lost.

A familiar scent flew in his velvet nares. Crestents spread and retratced as the inhaled the cool air. She was near. He snorted he did not care any more. He was older strong and more agile. He knew he had a step up. He turned and started to trot away from this area of the lake following the shore, line, it took adult horses months to go around he would only go as far as needed. Carefully he took up a fine canter pushing forward more in to a gallop.

Unwritten watched him start to leave. She felt something perce her heart. 'He doesn't want me anymore.' She thought as she started to turn away back to Freedom Herd.
